ROP2000 (Patent pending)

Axium recently introduced a new, innovative mixed pallet palletizing system called the ROP2000 (Robotic-Order-Picking). With palletizing speeds up to 2000 cases per hour (33 cases per minute) this system is fast, efficient, compact and low maintenance. Our innovative cubing software processes the customer’s order and determines the most logical and compact palletizing sequence while taking into account product weight and stability. Two flexible manipulators pick and place cases from overhead infeed conveyors. As the palletizing continues, the pallet gradually descends through a ring that applies the stretch wrap. The completed pallet exits the system at floor level.   The system is self-contained on a painted steel structure made for easy transportation and minimizes installation, start-up and commissioning time and costs. The system can palletize cases (closed boxes, open-top cases** and heat shrunk trays) ranging from 6" x 8" x 3" to 20" x 20" x 20" and weighing up to 44lbs.

** Open-top cases may limit pallet height and cycle time as they may only be placed at the top of the pallet.
