Gone are the times of using operators to pack direct-to-customer mixed orders. Axium’s innovative mixed case packing solution consists of a series of robots that are capable of packing cases and/or totes all at the same time.

Using the powerful CubeIQ software, customer orders are analysed and separated. The correct sized container is determined and automatically released into the system. As each container passes in front of a robot, CubeIQ tells the robot which products to place in the cases.

The quantity of robots required depends on the desired rate and the number of SKUs to process. Used/recycled containers can be re-introduced into the system thus reducing virgin stock requirements.

The complete solution can go as far as checking tare and final weight for quality control purposes, applying labels, case erecting, case sealing and can even include quality control and manual stations.
